One for the techies! I usd originally Freeserve as my boadband provider and that became Orange a couple of years ago. At the time of the change over I had problems with my MS Outlook in that the SMTP e-mail relay address changed from smtp.freeserve.co.uk to smtp.orangehome.co.uk. That caused a couple of days of head scratching whilst we tried to figure it out! The symptoms were that I could receive ok, but not send. Then all of a sudden at 09.00 yesterday I get the same problem with smtp.orangehome.co.uk! I can receive through my POP3 address, but cant send out. Tried the Orange help line and needless to say the phone operative who reside outside of the UK haven't got a clue. Anyone else come accross this problem? Chris |
