19th Feb - Looks good enough to get the Bike out
Right The S2R is sat outside the garage waiting to go
Blue Skies and Dry roads await so a Little trip over to H-Cafe for Lunch is in order

Think Kev and Trudi will also be popping over so if anybody else is out and about we may see you there

I saw a couple of guys out on GSXRs yesterday on my way home - brave in my opinion - I've been out all morning on my push bike and there's plenty of icy patches round here....

Hello Kev,

I think my first run will be in March, to your house, to get that clutch fitted!

Best regards,

James

Wasn't to bad going over to the Cafe or following Maty in his van back to his place in Didcot to look at the electrics on his DD bike for him, found his main issue but still wouldn't run yet it did on my ECU the last Monday
The ride back from there was a bit nippy but not to bad

I got out for two hours today but had to come back after 5 miles - soon as I opened the throttle hard, the oil light came on!
Popped back home and had to put 500ml in - been a while since I had the Duc out and even longer since I checked the oil. Have to take off the fairing to top it up as well (6 Dzuz fasteners).

Straight back out again and had a great ride round the local twisties, felt wonderful to pin it in 2nd up to the 10k limiter!

Several moments - van in front on a NSL, at 5mph - I'm doing 100 easily, seen him early so I stop right behind him and then he decided to turn right without indicating and cant understand why I'm on the horn!

Back end slip & grip - no drama though on this chassis and Dunlops.

Coming out of a village 30 limit doing 30 into a NSL on the A444 - fkin 4 cars all overtaking a tractor & trailer approaching me - last car would have taken me out if I had been; 1. another car or 2. anywhere near the 60 limit.

Made it back home in one piece and feel so much better.

Can't wait for the warm weather.

Few nice bikes including an RC8R at Netherseal.

well kinda biking - picked mine up on trailer after Oulton y'day and stopped at Loomies on way home. Half full car park so plenty out there - as I would have been if 848 was taxed. Job for this week...

I saw loads of bikes out on Saturday and the odd one on Sunday and also had to work Sunday PM after giving the cars a good valet! Still need tyres for my bike and oil change, QS sort and new grips. Must also check to see what else can be done!

At least the weather and the daylight hours are slowly turning in favour of riding Motorcycles, H-Cafe was quite packed as various rideout groups often stop by for lunch when its dry and above freezing
