countershaft

Finally put a 14 tooth countershaft sprocket on and it makes the bike much smoother at launch and easier to lug around in traffic. Haven't tried top speed out yet (will I ever??) as I only just turned 3000 km on it. Look forward to doing some touring after the rainy season here and see how she performs with panniers and my petite lady friend on the back (now that it is legal to ride two up in the expressways). The bike performs so much better now, I almost suspect Ducati had the 15 on there just to get improved mileage ratings for some EU authorities or something.

The tale is that it allows the bikes to pass EU drive by noise regulation! Just did our monster as well and its improved it no end.

To make it really interesting, go to 15/43 - the standard for the ST4 - this is almost equivalent to a 13 front to go with your standard 38 rear.....
With the lightened flywheel, Techlusion fuel injection module & Nelly's setup, mine is kind of fun to ride

Hmmm, thought it had to be something like that. Rush, that sounds like a nice combo as I kind of like keeping the original 15 on the front. What kind of revs do you get at 120kph??
