Nurbergring

A trip to the nurbergring, with a few of the boys, is on the list for the summer, anyone got any help, hints, pearls of wisdom, helpful websites etc etc?

Bizzare both thinking of Nurburg at exactly the same time, hope to see you there this summer.

The 'Ring is a public road so insurance should be ok.

Hi,

Confessed all to my last 2 insurnace companies and they said although they were 'concerned' about it they would have to honour the insurance as it is effectively a public toll road and not a race track.

Anyone had any incidents/experience of such?

Speak to Heather at Byrne-Up.

They go to the Ring about once every month and know everything. They are super-organised, mucho-friendly, provide free (good) instructors. Simon Byrne is a "Nurburgring God".

They can arrange all of your accomadation, passes etc., and will probably do a guided ride from Callais to the Ring (with luggage service) - I've been on many of their guided rides and they are a total blast.

Tell Heather that Spin sent you - I might get some discount on my bookings with them this year.

heather@byrne-up.co.uk

Best of luck and may see you there.
