I'm not sure there are many/any race 583's left for sale.
Just find a road going Monster, fit rear sets, race cans and clip-ons.
You can sort the rest as you go.
Optional extras include, race shock, forks internals/refresh, Dynojet kit & filter.
Standard bikes are competitive in the right hands, and you should be fine Darren.

Yup - echo this. Don't forget that this time 2004 there were no race prepped DD bikes. I took 2 from the the road. Real easy - race - enjoy

I have another 600 (Janes bike I was riding at the time of the accident)
