Not done much on the 996 recently but the KTM and dirtbike have been in regular use.

The KTM is great to ride in the wet and when the roads are horrible

Nice pics Mike, beautiful countryside.

Excellent ride ..

.. with Stu et al. Bumped into Psychlist at Bury Hill and then back to the Duke of Cumberland for the comfort of a log fire. Ended up sitting outside in the sunshine having a drink with Stu .. almost Spanish weather

If I had a bike, it would be in the garage now. My old bones aren't up to all year round biking anymore (I'm 29).

Yup. We had a good turnout at Popham today too. Liberal doses of F365 to take care of the salt between washes. And liberal doses of chocolate/coffee to keep warm. Not so many dodderers off to the garden centres this time of the year, so easier to maintain a brisk pace too.

CK - was that you two turning up on 4 wheels then ????? :P

First really cold morning down here today and as the bike hadn't been used over the weekend, predictably enough it didn't *quite* have the juice to fire the engine up. Bunged it on the Optimate for an hour and it started no probs. As long as it's used daily I'm sure it'll be all right.

TBH last couple of winters down here you count the *really* cold days on the fingers of one hand, I reckon. But I don't do much pleasure riding in the winter, just commuting.

... you must mean Lola Delighted she's found a good home.

Ferry booked for next Tuesday evening, will be in Northern Spain 8am Thursday morning and meeting the wife at Granada airport that evening. 800 miles in 10 hours, should be a blast
