Down change issue

While enjoying a fabulous track day at Croft yesterday courtesy of M&S, my bike after the straights decided it did not want to change down the 2 gears I requested. It would chage down after the bike had reduced speed usually after the corner! Then for no reason it would be OK for a couple of laps. Even blipping of throttle did not make a diffenece.

Has anyone else experienced this (doesn't make for a goo dlap time!)

PS No slipper clutch fitted

I had exactly the same problem at exactly the same bend of exactly the same circuit.

I opted to sell the bike.

Seriously though, I think you have to be really positive with the downshifts after such a long, fast straight, especially if you're on the brakes and the rear is lifting.
