748R with 2 seats
Hello guys

After my girlfriend have been whining a while now about why I only have 1 seat, and she whants to have a ride on my bike. Im planning to get an extra seat for her (and maybe some other girls:P)
So what im wondering about is what parts I need to get 2 seats. I know I need new plastic with seat pads, new back frame, footpegs.
Can I use the tail lamp, reg plate holder and tail lamp from my mono tail?
Anyone got some or all of the parts I need? (of course it`s red

Thx

Excuse my spelling and grammar...I`m Norwegian

Most of the stuff swaps straight over - seat hinge, lights, seat catch - I did mine at the weekend.

Dual seats are pretty easy to come by as people usually want the single seat. Just make sure you get one as complete as possible and then just swap across the bits you need.

A good tip is to mark on the two-part seat catch and light brackets where they line up for each seat, as I spent ages getting this just right!

Thanks guys

Is it possible to mount the monoposto (plastic) on the steel subframe (or do I have to change the subframe to the alloy frame to use it?

You can use the mono seat with the Bp subframe.

All you need now is two sets of everything for your seats!

Aren't they the same 5-spoke cast ally marchis that are on the S models?

Only the mag marchis may not be suitable for the extra weight...

No the 748R wheels are different to the other models in that the spokes are machined away more (scolloped) making them lighter -they are also fitted to 998R

I think it is an homologation thing for the supersport series
