Would anyone know how many 749r, carbon bodywork version, were made for the homolgation in 2004 ? and would you know how many found there way to the UK as official UK bikes?
hard to knock a bike that is now £500 more new than when first released. i think my blood would boil if i paid £20k for a bike to find new for £15-16k.
I think you are under some sort of illusion if you think your bike is worth more now than when it was new!.............ask those that have sold theirs.....electricsheep!
even that one owned by Chris walker for.......800 miles...
If your on about buying a new model....then i dont think there are many 999r owners that paid anywhere near the full 30000 euros price.
With the 749r, the mere fact it was at that price from the start means people are going to "afford" that one as apposed to a 999s.....plus it was cheaper ins etc etc.theres no comparison in that.
The comparison is in the used prices and as a percentage I would guess its around the same................

SORRY guys .... all I asked was how many were made, not the value or how much they are or not desired. Didn't mean to start an argument off.
