paddock stands
can you use a bobbin paddock stand on an 03 999. there are no threads to screw into.
Has anybody tried a reverse bobbin stand with the hooks on the swing arm and bobbins on the stand.

Yes but,no but,...........thats ok untill you want to remove the wheel.
The DP stand for 03/04 bikes has rubber cups that locate under the swingarm near the chain adjusters.Someone on here also used a Micron stand with success.

Try an Abba stand. Its a simple 1 man operation to lift the wheel with no danger of the bike falling.
