Well it's me again, out on the bike this morning did about 20 miles and she stopped and would not fire up again. loads of power in the battery, checked the fuel relays all ok there, I've got power to the 4 pin plug under the tank but the pump dose not prime when I switch on the ignition. any ideas I suspect the fuel pump but could it be something simple (Cheep)!
Not sure if the 888 electrics are similar at all to 916? but had same with mine a few evenings ago , same symptons etc. was a secondary fuse under the seat for the ECU, the holder had water ingress and had just corroded away new holder and fuse and hey presto !!
Have you got 2 powers on the 4 pin plug? There's a feed and earth each for the fuel sender and the pump. If you do have power then the pump looks like being the suspect
You could try wiring the pump directly to the battery to see if it turns. I've had it with a car where I had voltage at the pump, but it wouldn't work, it was down to the inability to supply current due to a corroded fitting.....worth a try?
