Mood: me in a mood? NEVER!
rev counter went off and wouldnt start.

went out last sunday on the 749s and while out the heavens opened but decided to carry on like you do or go home and help clean the house bike ran like a dream and when I got home I put it away. the next day or so I went to get her out again and the battery was completely flat, not even light a light. lucky enough I had a spare battery and got her going but the rev counter kept stopping and wasnt showing a true charge. ran it to local duc dealers (fylde superbikes) and the good mechanic there found the fault to be the relay near the battery which was full of water. just in case you boys or girls have the same fault.

Mood: Train comes and I know its destination
Another example of the 749/999 not being waterproof! Chap I met at Cadwell (the day after TA2.5) had a soggy rear cylinder that wouldn't fire up. Another place to check after a rain shower (after removing the tank first).
