Hi all,
I finally found an oil cooler on Ebay. I think it comes from a 9xx (the Tamburrini ones).
Now as usual, I've got plenty of questions:
1 - Is there a top and a bottom in an oil cooler? I mean does it matter if the oil lines are plugged at the top or at the bottom of the cooler. Below is a picture of where I plan to fit it. It will be quite close to the engine to avoid any problem with the front wheel:
"Hiya front wheel, I'm the oil cooler.
-get out of my way you oily thing" replied the wheel.
Hopefully, you see what I mean.
In the case the part of the oil cooler which is at the top doesn't matter, I think I will try to reverse it order to have it fitted higher (even further from the wheel and more protected within the bike in case that one decides to fall).
2 - What are the the name/reference of the bits (adapters?) I need to buy to plug my cooler to the bike using the cooler's standard lines, in place of the banjo bolts used to connect the engine to the carbs heating kit?

Last question,
3 - Do I need to check the thingy washer at the top of the oil filter? I think because my bike is already fitted with the carbs heating kit from stock, there is nothing to change when replacing the carbs heating kit with the oil cooler... Am I right?
Thanks in advance for your help guys.
