[i] In My Eyes [/], I was adding to the neighbour's quality of life by providing some quality sounds, but I think I hear The Sound Of Da Police and, with their new powers to confiscate stereo gear, I think I'll settle for some nice, gentle Aimee Mann

I just loved Monty's quote from an earlier thread:

Originally posted by Monty Saw the Floyd live in Hyde Park in 1970? I think. There was a series of free concerts and they were on one of them. They played 'Set the Controls' from Saucerful of Secrets and the sun came out-freaked us all out, mind you we were all stoned at the time
How cool must that have been?
Talking of cool, now listening to "Respect Yourself" by the Staple Singers...soooopurb (If a little old fashioned)
I was reading that quote from Monty and thought hang about, I've cocked up my album for "Set the controls ..." but it was actually on Ummagumma and Saucerful of Secrets. I have both so I didn't really notice it .... I guess when I first started getting into Pink Floyd it was all a bit of a blur - ahem.
Here's a good discography link for Pink Floyd - brilliant musicians!
I was going to shut up shop for the night, as I hope to go out for the Kent meet tomorrow morning, but all this Floyd talk hs got me yearning for some Echos , and its only a short track (picks CD out of rack, places in player and gives the Smashy and Nicey "Bachman-Turner-Overdrive lever "a good pull)
