Exhausted

does anyone know if an 04 Termi exhaust (model 96432403B) will fit an 04 749S ?
I suspect the ECU is different - if it is how much is a new ECU?

thanks for the reply ace, ive just spoken to a vey helpful ducati dealer and he said that the 999S sytem wont fit because the deep sump engine forces the pipe to be routed differently than the 749S pipe.
He did say he has heard of people cutting the cat out of the front pipe and welding it back up, not fitting the new ECU (as it made the engine stall) but using the new 999S Termi end can, heat shield and air filters. Dont know if this this work and dont really want to chop up my front pipe to try it !!!

Mood: going for a ride...
It's the other way round , a 749S front pipe hits the deep sump on the 999S engine. The 999S pipe will fit either model , the pipe just takes a route to the L/H side under the engine to avoid the sump (if fitted to a 749S it has nothing to miss)

ECU from 999S system will not work on a 749S , just leave the standard one on and get your dealer (hopefully a different one to the balloon who thinks the pipe will not fit ) to adjust the Co2 to suit , sorted
