Or it could be that the idle mixture is still set pretty standard, and hence waaaay too lean, and the weather just got colder. Set the idle mixture screws at 4 full turns out.
anyway in the end i put jump leads on to it from the van and the original plugs in and eventually it went. i think the cold had a lot to do with as carbs were set when it was hot and i've found a few batterys that seem to give less effort in the cold ( bit like me then). cheers guy's.
Tom, you better get out now and see if you can catch some of the late brigade. The rest of us are now looking forward to next week. Maybe you should leave it idling outside the house so you don't have to worry if it will start or not next sunday
