Gearbox fault?
I was out on the Multi the other Sunday and seem to have a problem when changing down from 5th to 4th. What would happen is when trying to get 4th it would instead get neutral. I would knock it back into 5th and try again and it would do the same. This happened a few times and I eventually realised that if I went from 6th to 5th then to 4th it was ok? But the problem only happened if when going up to box I never reached 6th and then started to change down. Anyone had similar faults?

Am wondering if it was just me and that I had not ridden for a few months, also my gear lever is slightly bent so maybe it could be that at fault?

My warranty is finished in a week so am going to book it in to be looked at.

Hmm,Ducati 'boxes are usually pretty good. How did the lever get bent?Over enthusiastic cornering,or dropped it?May have caused some internal damage,if the latter.
My 999bip used to miss the odd downshift, untill I found the linkage needed adjusting.
