Yep, that'd be what I'm talking about Yella.

I'm not suggesting that you get the bike upright before you gas it you can, after all, wind the throttle on all the way through a bend. What I'm suggesting is that as you start to pick the bike up on the exit, instead of coming up with it you stay hung off until the bike is upright. That way, you'll be able to gas it harder and earlier without spinning up because you'll be on a nice big fat bit of tyre.

Harder to describe than to do it I reckon.

Pulled an instructor round for a few laps at the end of the next session and he told me I was getting on the gas before standing it up so the contact patch was the edge of the tyre which is not best to try and get the power on.

Made a concious effort to stand it up sooner coming out of corners in the next session and never had the problem again.

It was v warm and dry and the tyres were too hot to touch for more than a few seconds at the end of a session and was running 30psi.

I go along with what OY say about getting on the power while still leant over. Looking at your avitar Spinoli, seem to confirm this. I also think that maybe you should consider super corsas or similar type of tyre change.

I had similar problems running Sportecs on a hot day except I came off - probably as Shazaam says because I was running 32psi, but for me 36psi on track feels like riding on solid wheels. I decided to stick with Supercorsas (no pun intended!)
