Huggers

I need a hugger for my 748 - any recommendations out there? Should I go for DP, Casoli, should I avoid the cheap ones on e-bay....? I know they all do the same job, but.....

Thanks,

Dave

its well worth buying, after my puncture this weekend im glad i had 1 fitted. i used the tyreweld stuff to get me home and what a mess the back of the bikes in,a whole layer of foamy slime everywhere but if the hugger wasnt there i dread to think how much of a mess thje shock would have been in

I have the dp one, there are 2 types long and short, I got the long one as I ride all year round.

It works well so the shock doesn't get covered, I like the look in carbon fibre to. It was fitted by dealer and a third bolt added on the right side to stop it flapping about they tap and drill the swingarm to do this.

Thanks Lee - I didn't know they tend to flap about. Drilling the s/arm seems a bit drastic....

Brent, it's only small hole about 5mm and the wall thickness of the swingarm is reall thick to. I was shown one without it done and flapped alot as it is only held down on the left side.

Other makes may be different though
