Probably the easiest way is to get another cover and get that machined, keeping your std for the day you sell........Dont forget that the testastretta covers are different to the older engines!
If you still need a pic of a machined casing, have a look at the Magnesium section on Tecmoto's website, there's a clutch housing on there. I've been considering machining the one on my bike, easier said than done though, as the remaining sections of the housing are tapered. Not too difficult on a C.N.C. mill, but a bit fiddly on a manual m/c.

This is my original Ducati cover after I machined it. Much tougher than carbon and have never had any problems with muck and bullets - AND as Jon will attest I have visited the gravel trap with it - admittedly not as often as him tho.........

You can get the older version altered Andy. I got hold of a mag one and didn't realise there was a difference. Trusty old Johnny hackett made the alterations for me.
