Fuel lines

Hello,

Noticed the bike was not idling to well, so thought I would
give it a mini service new oil/filter etc.

When I took the quick release petrol lines off noticed, what can best be decribed as a small amout of congealed petrol mix.

There was not alot but even still thought this was odd.

Bit like mushy kabab fat that had been left till the morning.

Will know more when I break into the petrol filter next week end.

Ask a stupid question have you head of this before?
would these cold nights in the garage do this to my petrol?

regards

No and No.

Was it actually coming from the internals of the QR couplings or was it just around them?
Possibly some kind of lubricant/sealant for the couplings, similar to the grease around the pump unit o-ring?
Dunno, send off to forensics!!!!
