fairing or not to fairing that is the question
I'm in 2 minds in what to do.should i buy full race fairing, do half fairing nose cone type or what i have fitted at moment.

please add pros and cons for each with your valuable experience to help me decide. Does full fairing make much of a difference when all on same engine?I'll start

Pros for full fairing
-aerodynamics
-looks
-more space for sponsors

Cons for full fairing
-costs more when you crash
-

pros for half fairing
-
-
cons for half fairing
-less aerodynamic than full fairing
-

Pros for my nose cone
-
cons for my nose cone
-no where to hide

oh and nearly got my seat unit on what you think? Roll on march

Seat looks great. What is it? Full fairing for sure.

If you dont have a fairing then its easier access for maintenance.

The added aero dynamics is only really going to work on circuits where you are carrying a lot of speed. Smaller tighter circuits I cant see much of a benefit.

Just my thoughts

Although i run with fairings simply because i have them the cost of a good set of crash bungs is alot cheaper than fairings.

First and third in this years Class B only had handlebar fairing. Matt Lawson and Steve Mason in class A, were always at the sharp end with handlebar fairings also.

That's only 'cos Awesome had broken all of his fairings by Round 2, and being from north of the border Steve wasn't going to buy more fairing than necessary

dont look as good tho do they and in previous years champs have all had full fairings (I think)

I read an interesting article on this; 3 Divvy's all the same trying to improve top speed. The one with less weight and more aerodynamics beat the one with engine mods and and the one with nitro.

Not only in outright speed but in % increase over standard. Also had some prof bloke explaining how it aids acceleration; also shown in the results. Good enough for me.

Sounds like that advert for Nightnurse. "And so aids restful sleep".
