Then they should close Rockingham for the same reason.
The surface at Goodwood was completely adequate when I was there in June this year. Dry, except a tiny touch of rain around lunchtime, no problems at all.
None of the 21 participants came off. The organiser said that they would end the TD is the circuit got wet, due to its slippery nature - fair enough, perhaps, but the same could be said for any circuit.
