Tim/Mark, OY...

Yep, its a race unit' so doesnt have the cut out for the standard seat pad, so I'll be looking into some high-density foam padding to take the weight onto the sub-frame, and then a foam pad for the seat.

Thanks for all your help chaps. If anyone does have a few piccies on their PC to hand then would help, but think I'm set for what I need to do.

Just need to find the time to sort it all

Mine didn't have the cut out so I made a template from the original unit then took a grinder and cut it out. Made it really secure AND comfortable!!
Here's the pics of the brackets I've got if required,

Mark

Cheers for the pics Mark. My seat unit actually has mounting threads moulded in already, so I've switched the rear bracket from my road unit and it fits perfect.

Just need to sort the front hinge bracket out, and the under-seat support, then I'm away!!!

Hopefully I'll have the garage cleaned out on Sat so I can be mucking around with mine on Sunday. I won't have the bench built yet though, mainly because I haven't ordered the timber ...

You're more than welcome to drop round
