Caberg Helmets

Anyone had any experience with Caberg lids ? Im considering getting a Caberg Brutus or V2.

In the past I've had a Suomy Gunwind and present lid is a Arai Quantum F. I've now seen a Caberg lid which is matt black and has a white stripe down it, which will match my leathers and bike a treat.

The Caberg lids are only £99 and Im just wondering how different they are from paying £400 for an Arai. So has anyone got any good/bad feelings about em.

Cheers, Tricky.

The AGV looks well.

Has anyone had a custom paint job done ? does that work out cheaper than buying a new lid if its just a change in look your after ?

I had a Caberg Brutus given to me in a sponsorship deal - First time I fell off I was knocked out and the helmet was destroyed... and it was noisy and the wind blew in my eyes - with the visor down!!

Personally, I wouldn't wear one if they paid me.

Up to you though

Cheers Domski

That was just the sort of comment I was looking for, time for a nice new Arai and custom paint job and a bank robbery to support it.

I was finding it hard to believe that a lid can be any good for £99 or if it was I'd be upset I've been paying £400

Oh dear, I've recently bought a Caberg helmet, hope they're not all like that, I've got one of those new V2 helmets with the visor? they're quite good, very comfy, maybe not as quiet as my AGV but I like the dark visor bit

Decent paint jobs will set you back anywhere between 250 to around 500 quid depending on complexity of design and if the lid is plain (preferably white) to begin with
