For better race braking I'm considering a brembo or equivalent brake master cylinder. Do I stick with the stock size or go smaller (more power but more travel) or larger (less power but less travel)?
Stock m/c is slowly becoming not good enough for racing.
Probably a bit hard to go smaller as the standard is 16mm bore The race Brembos start at 16mm My preference was the 19mm dia. X 18 Pivot for use with twin 4-pots and 19mm dia. X 20 Pivot with twin 6-pots Although now I have moved over to the adjustable ratio AP on both the 998s
hard to quantify Neil as its personnel preference as your trying to get the feel you want. To me the 19X18 with two p4s attached gives a strong brake with plenty of feel, Dallas has also gone the same route on his Fireblade with two brembo M4 Calipers
