Finally back home... Was the best race meeting I ever took part in... from far... Great job from Chris and Paul, thanks very much for giving us that opportunity.

If I can only do one race meeting next year, it will be Assen.

That was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good. Can't describe that feeling.

Sharks fin soup anyone, I thought you were supposed to smoke the reefer in the paddock. To much wind over it and up they go. Smoking

Thanks Chris and Paul for a weekend I will never forget.

Just want to add my thanks.

Had my first Brolly Dolly (if you see what I mean), had a long chat with Mr Terblanche, saw some amazing / crazy machinery and got to race Assen!

A truly special event and all credit to everyone involved with getting DD racing there.

Yes it was an uphill struggle at times and 6 weeks ago it looked like it was going to be blocked by officialdom, but it happened, it would appear that everyone enjoyed it and I have already had my ears bent to start organising next year!

I have been in touch with Ton this moring to officially thank them for their assistance and support over the last few months and particularly over the weekend. I am given to understand that no one disgraced themselves and get the feeling that they will have us back next year to race again.

Anyway I am only arround for a few days and then I disappear to Italy to do the Giro, once I get the piston on my race bike run in (200 miles to go by tomorrow night at no more than 80kph!)

Chris
Have a great Giro mate.I was hoping to be there myself,in the touring class.Could'nt do it this year, for one reason and another,...mebbe next year tho.........
