Thanks Chris Bushell / Paul James

Thanks Chris for all your hard work and negotiation with the Dutch Ducati Club !!

The Chance to race at Assen is something you just cant "turn up " and do..!!!!!

Thanks to Paul for making the trip and representing the DD and RC in the " flat lands "

It may have been a struggle at times.!! but all worked out fantastic in the end.......

Cheers

Phil

EXACTLY!!!!!

It's the end result rather than the journey that counts.

Paul did a great job formally representing the DSC at the event, even addressing the Dutch club and the crowd via the circuit 'mike' from the podium, thanking them for their hospitality.

Thankyou for the opportunity...

Now you lot are going to make me come over all embarassed at this rate!

Yes it was an uphill struggle at times and 6 weeks ago it looked like it was going to be blocked by officialdom, but it happened, it would appear that everyone enjoyed it and I have already had my ears bent to start organising next year!

I have been in touch with Ton this moring to officially thank them for their assistance and support over the last few months and particularly over the weekend. I am given to understand that no one disgraced themselves and get the feeling that they will have us back next year to race again.

Anyway I am only arround for a few days and then I disappear to Italy to do the Giro, once I get the piston on my race bike run in (200 miles to go by tomorrow night at no more than 80kph!)

Chris

Did you like the first public airing of my 'flaming' stunt?

Thanks for the thanks guys, it didn't turn out too badly in the end. Bet you didn't expect to get your trophies on the GP podium or to have them presented by Mr. Terblanche !!!

It was worth the effort to sort it all out when it all worked out well for those taking part.

We've just got back from the trip having caught the 2pm Hook to Harwich slow ferry, only rain since setting out early Thursday a.m. was coming back from Harwich to home, weather held out perfectly for us all in Holland.
