Bad weather is a nightmare for some.

Just saw on the news, the really nasty weather they had in cornwall this afternoon.
I nearly moved down to that part of cornwall several years ago, but seller pulled out.
I'm sure glad I did'nt after seeing the news tonight.
absolute nighmare for those folks.
Is this the start of things to come, I think it might be.

Nah, you be fine mate.
If it does rain, you can just unzip those yellow waterproofs on your bike when you get home, and just stand and admire that lovely red duke.

Nice to see you made the right choice and stayed with a duke, I mean, yellow grows on you after awhile.....not to long I hope.

cheers

It's custard Robin - and I'm deeply ashamed to let the red contigent down (seeing as I've had one for the last 4-years)...nah... I'm not really... hopefully it will go like stink, frighten 'me neighbours when I start it in the morning and I can keep up on the rideouts without knackering the engine

Are you up for Rockingham matey with the new beasty?

was thinking about it, depends if i get some serious HP out of the bike, it's only dyno'ed at 143 BHp at the rear wheel., and I could use it abit more really.

but seriously, I probably will be.
Just need to get to the bottom of the fuel pump malarchy, and I'm sorted.
It would be nice to show up some of the 916/996 peeps, my little old 851 has a few secrets inside it's cases mate.

How are you getting there paul, I will probably take the trailer.

cheers
robin

Cool, that would be novel!!!

I've no idea yet, I was planning to ride up there (being a virgin at this malarky don't know really what to expect), but if you're going and up for a bit of sharing on the petrol and stuff perhaps I can join ya?

my trailer a single at present, but can be upgraded to a double , by fixing on a second track, which is easy to do. takes only about 10 mins, and is rated to take two bikes anyway.
I could pick you up on route mate, lob all the kit in the back.
Got a new V6 vectraSRI estate, so loads of room in the car.
much better option than riding there and back on the bike.

let me know .

Robin

Sounds like a great idea to me!!! I'd guess we need to get a second track from someone? Let me know how much etc...

It's got to better than riding up there!

I off to the Spanish Mountains at the end of this week to roast the carcus, but I was planning to go to the Popham mega-dobree on the 30th, it may be worth meeting up to go over timings and stuff....

Cheers

Paul
