My Little Accident!

Hi, just thought I'd let you all know that my big, beautiful 749S is no more.

Coming home from the Ponderosa on Aug 1st a car pulled out from a layby on the left to do a U-turn in front of me.

Got back from hospital yesterday with two broken arms and damage to the neck and shoulder. The bike doesn't look too good either! Must be something in the air up here!!!

My old M900 has now been promoted to No. 1 bike again but I won't be match fit for the Rockingham trackday - I'll have to wait until next year for my debut!

Husband Phil is doing an excellent job as a full time nurse - thank you darling.

Hope to see some of you soon.

Regards, Gill Crofts xxx

Very very sorry to hear about that Gill, hope your recovery is quick and without problems.
The Congleton meeting just wasn't the same without G & P.

Shame about the bike too, but that can be replaced.
If you or Phil want any help with anything you know where we all are.

Best wishes and get well soon.
Steve.

Oh Gill

So sorry to hear about that, wondered why you weren't at the meet last week.

get well soon.

Hope the car driver's being prosecuted, or preferably electrocuted.

all the best

Shaun

Just a thought, look on the bright side you won't have to worry about the 749 stalling problem you had anymore. I'm sure that comment will get me a big kick in the nether region next time i see you

That's sounds terrible.... Hope you recover quickly.

Make sure you get a good lawyer and sue the barsteward and his insurance company into the gutter.
