Insurance & Points

Thought I would post here instead of insurance section for more replies

I have 6 points for an SP30 and got £100 fine, insurance is due for end of Sept.

Anyone got 6 points and know how much it will load my premium? I believe that 3 don't make to much difference.

As I have a claim to, and dropped to 3 years no claims its going to be a tough decision to keep the 748s this year as my dealer has a Kawasaki Z1000 which I could swap it for.

And the insurance for the Z1000 is £600 less than the 748s.

What to do? 1st 6000 mile service is due at the end of the year to

If I do swap will lose a lot on the 748s as its not even a year old yet. Either way I lose dough.

If I keep it I can't afford to do any mods or go to the track attrack 3 at Rockingham which will be really good reading the threads on it.

Haven't checked my lottery numbers yet

Fingers & toes crossed please everybody

does affect the premium a bit - mine added about 15% to the cost!

Have you tried the Zthou?? I think, if my ins was £600 more for a 748s then I would change bikes unless thiose numbers DID come up

Bradders, it is tempting £900 for the Z1000 and £1300 for the 748s before I tell them about the points and add approx %15 on top will be around then £1500

Not tried one yet but read all the reviews, sounds good with about 120 rwbhp and 65 p/ft of torque and with the high bars wheelies everywhere. Just the fact its a Kwacker

The Z1000 is only 4 months old just been serviced to, huummppphhh what to do

If they do come up my dealer has about 3 749r's still instock, I'll take 2

kwackers aren't that bad...at least they have attitude!

Maybe with the money your saving, £600 ins, £600 service, not sure if you'd get ££ back on yours, but you would be close to a 748 for the track without more £££ than to run the S on the road

....now theres a thought, sell sps............
