Reason to be Cheerful

Yesterday my bike finally returned to it's natural yellow colour, after what seemed like an eternity as a multi-coloured shed , yellow LHS, grey RHS, red nose-cone .

This all because of muppet-like behaviour by yours truly, and I shouldn't gripe about being kindly lent some old panels (thanks, louigi ) to keep me on the road.

But I collected resprayed RHS panels from the painters on Friday, so, with the nose-cone spray/repair expertly done by Dibble's man in Kent (thanks again there), I was back to a yellow bike by lunch-time yesterday. The rest of the afternoon was taken by by some unusually thorough (for me!) cleaning in an attempt to get the rest of the bike to match up!

And, for an old all-weather shed, it doesn't look too bad now!

All it needs now is an oil-change, a new set of tyres, and the new discs and 4-pad calipers that louigi's sorting out for me fitting....

Jeez, the expense never ends, does it?
