Exclamation WANTED for MCN Feature: Ducati 996R and 999R
MCN are trying to arrange a gathering of Ducati superbikes as part of a lavish feature about the heritage the firm has and how all of that was condensed into making the new 1199 Panigale.

They have a track (Silverstone), a rider (Neil Hodgson and Michael Neeves) and all of the bikes needed (851, 888, 916, 1198SP) but two are proving elusive!

MCN still need a 996R and a 999R and wondered if these might be traced through DSC members. MCN will pick up the bikes in a van, they will be fully insured and will NOT be doing hot laps of Silverstone. They do not have to be taxed, but they will be ridden by Neil Hodgson so need to be fully maintained and ready to go. Owners are welcome to join MCN for the day at Silverstone on March 30.

If you have either a 996R or 999R (or both!) and are willing to help, or know someone that has one of these, please send a PM to the WebTeam or reply to this thread and we will put you in touch with Andy Downes at MCN.

Thanks for your help!

I may have to take a bimble over to Silverstone tomorrow, may see what else I should be getting on with, like finishing off the new wiring harness for my DD bike

Lack of fuel around my neck of the woods and though Silverstone is only 35 miles away my 1100 Monster would only have got a third of the way there before it ran dry. Hope the day went well for everyone and their bikes
