Suspension maintenance

I've just had all the rear suspension off my 1996 M600. Considering the bike has 47k on the clock (kmh clock with mph convertor fitted) I was suprised at how easily everything came apart.
Ever since I picked the bike up the bike has suffered a lot of creaking noises when ever I got on or off it, not all the noises were coming from my old bones, most were coming from the bikes suspension system.
Everything has now been freshly greased and reassembled so any remaining creaks will be down to my old bones.
Next up is to check the rear wheel bearings
I must admit working the odd night shift every now and then does come in handy as does a 10 Ton crane with a couple of slings
