Awesome looking. 164kg's and 195bhp with traction control. What is not to like? I reckon crash bungs are going to be popular though with that wet clutch cover and the no doubt expensive Ohlins on the left. Perhaps they have put the self retracting side stand back just to boost revenue.

I guess Bayliss was right. It is such a shame we will not see him riding one. I bet he must be very tempted to get his leathers on again.

No wonder it is called the panigale, the dimensions of the pistons look like those of a frying pan.

Very slick presentation by Ducati media types as well.

So what is the future for the Desmosidici?

will there be an 848 version? Is it possible to do that given the current engine dimensions?

I don't care how innovative it is, lookswise it doesn't float my boat. I'll stay in 2002 thank you very much.

me too but I would like to fast forward here as well. YOu can keep everything inbetween: 749, 999, 1098, 1198, except perhaps the 848.

Not sure i am liking the mirrors, it could be just the way the photos were taken but they look like they would be more suited to be seen on the head of a ladybird or some other insect !!! still other than that i do like the look of the bike but will reserve final judjment until i have seen it in the flesh.
