Quite happy with my fully-floating fronts at the moment, and I really can't afford to upgrade. Will keep an eye on ebay for a single rear, but it'll probably wait until the winter restoration/modification project kicks in....

Any bright ideas as to where ex-race bikes/spares get sold?? I'm after some more generic bits like wheels/race calipers/forks that could probably come off a number of different bikes.

Cheers,

Ali

You could try the classified on racing websites like...

the ACU..

http://www.motorcyclinggb.com/

but apart from some tyres, I'd have thought most racing bits would be HEAVILY abused - just my impression.

Stick with the dreaded E-Bay

Ali,

Try Talon direct as they are Braking importers and do a great service.

Nelly's got some crazy rear wavey's in for around £70 or £80 (can't remember) I had one fitted last year and it really works, you do need new brake pads too. You can lock the rear wheel with one of those fitted, it looks cool too

(Then, from experience, you need to fit a corsa rear brake lever and ruin the feel so you keep locking it up and consequently stop using it altogether !)

I got one of these http://www.moto-master.com/ from Stuart at Spareshack (He gives a discount for DSC members too).

Can't honestly say it brakes any better (It's always worked) but with the cast iron fully floating fronts on my SL, quite frankly I don't care....
