Whatever, I know it sounds daft but has anybody got a foolproof method of getting on the bike cleanly without a ladder or one of those things they used to get knights onto a horse. Simple answer Jools is that you bought those old leathers off AndyB and they are just a teensy bit "snug" on you, as evidenced by the seams all coming unstitched when we stopped at Bourne on the rideout a couple of weeks back.
You could always get red boots ?
