SS620 race bike ready to race Updated edit:- Originally built by Kev Ellis Since then the bike has been fully stripped and rebuilt with bearings and lubricants replaced where necessary. The bodywork has been cut back to a minimum weight and finished in gloss white ready for sponsors decals and race numbers. Full spec. as follows :- Supersport Chassis Engine mounts drilled to 12mm on lhs and taped to M12 on the rhs Ex Tom Roberts 5 speed engine prepared by Ducati Wrexham fitted 2 races ago. 2 into 1 Exhaust 750SSie Throttle bodies and Injectors Decoded ECU with fuel trim to suit Injectors Power Commander 3 USB for fine tuning set up by Nelly at Cornerspeed 748 style Tacho and Temp Gauge Adjustable Forks Later Type wheels Hagon Shock Race Supplies Direct rearsets Tank fitted with 3-bar fuel pump 748 top fairing & lightweight fairing Bracket 748 Style seat In addition to the spec. above, it has been race prepared losing a little weight, down to approximately 160 Kg the only future weight savings I can think of would be ali tank and swing arm and tube type clip ons as opposed to the standard ducati items fitted. It had a new (full size) battery fitted last year. After the PC3 set up by Nelly on the dyno, it produces a strong 58.5 BHP which stays level right to the rev limiter. It has also benefited from crash protection in the form of crash bobbins on both axles and frame, as well as woodcraft style stainless engine casing sliders. Front brake protector arm and petrol tank filler race cap. It runs good on Motul 300v fully synthetic with no clutch slip. The V5 is now present too. I have raced this in 3 meetings last year with a best of 6th at Cadwell after duking it out with Ghost, and just 2 single races this year, the last one being to 8th place at Donington race one, after racing the endurance at the same meeting (on the CBR) I decided to retire from racing, hence this sale. There are a few essential spares such as rear sets, gear linkages, clip ons, throttle tube, db killer (not required), rear sprocket and carrier, etc. if you need anything else I do what everybody else does, and borrow it off of Kev ! Any inspection is welcome, as most people who know me will know the bike is well prepared mechanically and electrically, it is now very much more presentable having had a few cosmetic repairs and a good tidy up, All it needs are race no.s and it's ready to go. I'm looking for £1750, I am based just off of the M1 J29A at Chesterfield, where it can be viewed by arrangement. If you need any more pics just let me know, as the pics below don't do it justice.
