Nice seat, suit underseat exhaust like Senna3\'s

Looks like quite a nice conversion for a SS especially if someone was considering the underseat exhaust route like Senna3's, looks like they have put the whole in the back in just the right place and also allowed for the heat to escape

Got one too

Hi

Just doing one of these up myself. I got it of fleabay, and it was in a bit of a state, all chipped and battered.

Been working on it bit by bit when I get time. Made a new seat pad from a sheet of formed stainless steel and foam with leatherette cover. 3rd attempt finally came off.

Coat of white on at the moment to show up any missed defects. Nearly there filling, sanding, filling etc...

Ready for red and Corse stripe soon.

Got an Aprillia 250 rear light which fits nicely in the hole at the back.

Will try to post a pic or 2

Chris

Toothbrush, degreaser and WD40 all add up to a very dirty pair of jeans and a nice clean bike.

Back together (almost) but the seat is on to check it fits ok.

Must say its quite comfy.

I should take up making seat pans for a living!

Either that or that diet is a good idea.

Ok last one to show the Aprillia light in place.

So if you are considering this seat, I can recommend it, but be prepared for a bit of work on fitting the light and making a better seat pad than the foam one I have seen before.

Cheers

Certainly is a stylish seat unit but I think your passenger pegs will have to go :P
