CO2 Adjustment for Termi pipes

Ive managed to get hold of a Termi end can and front pipe.for my 04 749S.
Question is :-Do you have to adjust the CO2 when youve fitted a Termi Asymetrical system?
If so does anyone know how to adjust the CO2 ? and what do you set it from and to?
Can any bike workshop do it or do you need special Ducati tools?
cheers

You'll need two take off connectors to screw in to the header pipes (cheap) and a CO analyser (expensive).
It's the CO(carbon monoxide) you need to check/adjust, not the CO2.
There is a degree of adjustment possible with the air bypass screws on each throttle body, but if there's not enough, you'll also need a Mathesis tester to adjust the CO trimmer within the software of the ECU.

The short answer is................ it's a dealer/workshop job

another solution would be a power commander and a bit of dyno time

This was discussed in depth on a recent post, but in short this is what I found.

I had to put standard ECU back on with Termi asymetric system due to ECU biting the dust. On a dyno run it was obvious that the fuel/air mixture at higher revs was extremely lean, which would damage the engine if left like that. I had a Power Commander fitted (about £300 fitted) and found that supplied map for the Asymetric Termi worked very well. You also get the better throttle response and smooth power delivery that the Power Commander gives you. Very pleased with it on recent road tests and a track day at cadwell.
