Can any one recommend an outfit that would dyno check and assess engine performance.Nr south london / or surrey region.Had the race system fitted from new and has always seemed to have run a little rough.

you're not alone there!

cant recommend you any dyno places but would definitely benefit from being correctly set up with maybe an fim chip or power commander if you dont have one fitted already.
