Ventura luggage & Termis

Having problems fitting the L-Brackets to the 996 (bip) with the termis in place. Basically the termis are to long and the L-bracket wont bolt to the rear footrest hole as it hits the termi.

The whole exhaust looks like it needs moving back about 1/2" for the bracket to fit, then none of the holes will line up on the balance pipe.

Any ideas

Excuse me if i'm ststing the obvious, but there are fifferent kits for mono and bip subframes.

Have you got the right one? did you buy it new or secondhand?

Mine kit is for a mono so can't directly help but may help if can post a pic.

Also remember Fordie (i think) posting pics of his fittings on the site some time ago so it may be worth doing a search.

brand new kit was there when order was placed, Got part nunber d013-b for the l-brackets with the pack rack. Says that on the packaging.

Had a look at that pic looks the same as the one i got.

Will put up pic later tonight, after fitting std pipes to make sure that the parts do fit, as the termi are off at the mo.

Its a few years since I fit mine to a 996s bip, I cant fully remember but is there not some washers included to shim the L bracket outwards away from the cans? Are the brackets touching the cans at both sides? I sold mine (to Dibble I think?) ages ago so I dont think I still have the instructions but I will have a peep in the garage.

d013/b is the right part number for a 996 bip

Has the subframe been changed for a mono subframe, if not i'm at a complete loss.
