Thumbs up Clutch Springs

I would like to use stronger clutch springs in my 620 monster DD bike. It has the semi-slipper clutch thingy.
Is there a ducati spring from another model that I could use in a straight swap?

Hi Dave, me again.

We had that clutch in my bike originally but found it to slip. We put extra washers in to increase the tension on the springs but it then started slipping again so we tried to fit another washer in and ended up putting too much tension on and broke the clutch basket. So we ended up borrowing a clutch from Skids at Snetterton last year to get us through the meeting.

In the end we fitted an older non-slipper clutch and all was good.

You have all got too much power.

I've done a season and a bit on my APTC clutch and it's only just started to grab on take off (see Snet race 2....), but no slipping.

Maybe it's because once I've got off the line I never pull the lever until the cooldown lap (or the graveltrap)??
I can't master the "slight slip to vary corner speed" technique, but maybe it only becomes necessary when you're fast?

I had 748RS springs in my DD 620 Monster. 03 as well. Sorry Dave, I know your clutch is different.

That and going to semi-synth cured my slip dramas. What oil are you running?

Dave,
We've got a full wet clutch here if you need one, going cheap!
Let me know.
