Cadwell Report and Full Results

A report on Races one and two from Cadwell is now on the Desmodue website.

I've also scanned in the full results from Saturday untimed practice and Sunday's races one and two.

good report Phil

Are you going to post up the points for each round - and also the championship too?

Special mention to NBs for his cracking first results in - blinding racing mate

Yes, I would like to post the points for each round/race and the championship overall.

Anyone know if there is an official list where those can be found?

Although I guess I could probably calculate them myself. Is there a points awarded for position formula somewhere? (Guess I'll be off to read the rules again as it might be buried in there)

Pat you self on the back for this show of what clubs can really do for their members.
I am not racing this year but o so wish I were. Fantastic day lovely people with the best grid of the day and some close racing. Just my opinion but ban the big bore 620s now.

Nuts....I really wish I had been there. Sounds like everyone had a great time.....

Congratulations to those that came in the points, commiserations to those that had problems, and well done to everyone for getting out there and doing it.

I will be ready to join you at Castle Coombe come hell or high water!

Thanks Eric, not something I'll be forgetting for a while! Sorry I didn't get chance to meet you during the day, but it was just a blur of spanner twiddling and panic suppression.

Nice to see my lap times finally dropping under 51 secs once I had clear air infront of me. Looking forward to going back there in the autumn.

Cheers,

Ali

Excellent day out and well worth the 300 mile round trip on the day!

Well done one and all for a superb effort - I heard a few 'regulars' say how good it was to see a full grid with such machine variety for a change.

Ali ! - Sorry marra I didnt realise it was you I was taking to on Sunday moning when you had just come in after untimed practise.....I had my fingers crossed for your CF fairing all day

A couple of links as usual:

Official results should be available from here:
http://www.neweramcc.org/club/results.htm

and official photographs from here:
http://www.pljphoto.com/home.html

Gotta mention two other highlights of the day as well, the Supermoto boys were awesome and thrilling to watch at every part of the track....

Second was Fifteen year old female racer Sam Burman in the 125cc class - she was amazing, her cornering speed was as fast as anyone there:

Cheers Guys !
