DD Update 28th May 2015
Following today's statement by Hottrax informing us they have canceled the Oulton race meeting and test day and suspended all bookings for future events along with News from other sources informing us that the meeting at Knockhill has also been canceled.

The Race Committee (Karen, Trudi and myself) will be meeting tomorrow evening to try and work out any possible alternatives that may be available to us.

And I can assure you I'm not starting with a blank piece of paper

DD Future
I am not at all sure what the options are, or even what they could possibly be. But whatever opportunities you investigate, please just ask if you need backing up or commitment to help keep the DD series alive and get us out racing again.
I fully understand that you may have to make some compromises to the existing DD regulations to keep it going, but I know you have the interest of the series at heart, so you can count on my full support.

Cheers Mark

Without a separate grid the main safety issues I see would be
Capacity/power/speed differential
grip and therefore Tyre choice in the Wet
pace into first corner and possible need for warmers

If we don't here something positive from Hottrax soon
We will be looking at ways to run more rounds this year either with one or multiple clubs
And looking into how we can have a 2016 Desmo Due season

Good stuff Kev and hear hear to Trumpet!

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the dog.

Looks like we now know that hottrax have been completely shut down so good luck with any options you can find-
I'm sure we're all with you in whatever can be done for now and next year and appreciate having you on the case!!

I really hope this works out for you guys.

No Limits are a great team to race with, a family atmosphere with customer satisfaction top of their list.

They've just enticed the 2 stroke gp class to the paddock and given them their own class, which ahs around 12 in it, so they can surely take another class too.

I hope they can fit you in somewhere without you having to alter too many of your rules and regs.

Good luck and keep us posted.

no limits?
what are our chances of slotting our grid into no limits schedule- they look very straightforward with a realistic 8round calendar a non flashy website and a broad set of classes- 5 rounds left and fairly similar to what we would have done but without going all way to scotland- could we even share grid with 125's if needed to as also low power high corner speed machines
