Talking Snap Happy Redruth

Not all of the 80 or so a took, just a selection. I think you'll get the gist. Fantastic time had by all of the BHCN raiders.

More shortly but the server keeps saying 'busy' so am off outside to wash my bike -yes full strip, wash and wax. She did me proud this weekend, the least I can do is give her more the a lick and a promise.

Well yes, I had a little break down in a place I can't remember. It was caused by a dodgy fuse terminal which was not engaged in the fuse block properly and the fuse was only making contact with it by a hairsbreadth...not so good when it's the fuse for the fuel pump.

I had the courtesy to break down right outside a pub...well close enough for me to demonstrate how macho I am by running 20 yards pushing the bike in scorchio heat and full lid and leathers up a pretty steep hill to the pub.

Now I don't know why but Ruth's snap and the ones that Keefy or Marko took (on Gizmo's server) make it look for all the world as if I just stood around drinking lager while the rest of the BHCN massive fixed my bike for me, but I'd just like to say that although there was a lot of helpful advice, a bit of massed prodding and a bit of screw twirling, I did do most of the repair work myself.

You can tell that I did the repair work because of all the bolts that were missing from the fairing when we arrived in Glenridding

Theres a few great ones of the lake and Jetty on DuN. Theres a really nice one that I fancied printing out and framing. All the time I spent there and I never actually went down there to have a proper look, I had left my camera at home though so I have to rely on other folks pics. JPM was offering me £20 to go in the water and I think it got to £50 or more if I was to dive off the jetty. They would probably still be searching the lake bed now for my body! Would probably have drowned half of Pooley bridge had I done so.
