ISC Gets New Club President
Thanks to the efforts of Oz and Yeti, the ISC now has a club president. Former WSB star and Eurosport pundit Jamie Whitham has agreed take on the role of club president.
As a long time fan of Italian bikes and current Ducati owner, Jamie is delighted to be a part of this rapidly expanding club.

The ISC caters for all Italian bike owners with regular meetings and no subscription is necessary to be a part of it.

The web site is at http://www.italiansportingclub.co.uk/default.asp

Here is Jamie receiving his club tee shirt from club members John Lawson and John Vickers

Is this what you call subliminal advertising?

Nice to know that the DSC is at the forefront of the ISC newshounds thoughts and the "news" appears first on here and not on Ducatisti, in MCN or the daily biker bugle.

Perhaps the ISC would like some DSC trackday news by way of a swap?

I see the comments on the ISC site regarding 'how long this post will stay up before the fun police take it off the site'. Well it appears to be still here, so read into that what you will.

I think it's brilliant to get Jamie as a President, well done to those concerned. I hope he is more active than Foggy is in the DSC, (He already is by saying hello to a 'member').

PLEASE don't shoot me, innocent question, but is ISC a 'Club'? (yet?)

If ISC is a 'club', what do you get for your membership, or what are the plans for the 'club' going forward. I believe they have a trackday lined up for example. Do they (you) intend to expand it out into events, discounts, club mag, race series, factory visits etc?

No malice intended, I know plenty of the people on the ISC site and many are 'members' of both 'clubs' and I also read the posts regularly although I don't often post myself. Both have a place in the world.

I'm looking forward to the DSC trackday, the best couple of days of the year for Ducati riders and of course also looking forward to the next DSC Pronto, (Cause I have written another article). Also hoping to get to a couple of DD rounds this year to support the series, particularly if I'm on the card racing my 600. (CB5's have moved from New Era to Thundersport)
