A question for all the cricket fans

Does anyone know what the numbers on the shirts of the England players, just below the England badge represent?

i thought that, but Pieterson has got the number 626,Flintoff is 591,Trescothick is 603.Would it be to do with the number of people who have represented England? The Aussies have numbers as well,i think Warne is 350.Any ideas?

Yes, Brent is correct.

It represent what number in line that the player is representing their country.

Thus, Freddy is the 591st person to represent England.

Numbers 1 to 11 where appointed in alphabetical order, but that was way back Lad...

Did you win the cash???? then.
