Well I've been called some things in my time, but evergreen is a first.
No surprise the Ducatis are providing large grids with close races, in Class A Andy Challis is definitely the man to beat with an enviable record in gracing the top two steps of the podium, pushing Andy along the way are Matt Lawson, Andy Pike and Dallas Hornblow although the last two were noticeable absentees from Oulton last month; look out for the evergreen Phil Wilcock who won in North Wales and has a bit more to come plus Paul Baleta who had a couple of seconds at Oulton.
In the slightly slower Class B crowd Chris Clarke was out to show they are not much slower by getting third on the road in Cheshire, he now leads his class quite comfortably but expect to see the Norfolk rider being pushed around the Lincolnshire Wolds by Dave Jenkins, James Stevenson or Tom Halifax - better still all three.
When the teams pack up and leave Cadwell on Sunday evening they will have a six week holiday break to reflect and contemplate on what they have to do to gather more points when Hottrax Motorsport make their first visit to the mouth-watering Donington International circuit.
