Makes no difference my 185kgs was still almost unbeatable. Only Angry Challis got lucky once or twice.

I'm not spending anymore on weight saving on the bike, but looking at spending that money on track time and tyres. Loosing weight myself would be cheaper, saves money on the weekly shop!!

Double bonus

weight savings not cost me a penny so far .. apart from maybe going to the underseat pipe .. but the that was just an added bonus in my mind

so that means you've got 6 kg's to lose for free .. Have you taken the lights off?

Underseat pipe costs weight bless its ti, as you need more pipe work I reckon than a simple out the bottom can

Weight becomes an issue if 2 fairly equal riders and one has considerable weight difference. And it must be true that's all they talk about on Eurosport with moto 2!!

Na the pipe lengths are designed to be the same so you just lose the weight of a can

Aparently if you tuck your elbows in it's worth 9 seconds a lap or something like that

No, this is DD. elbows have to be out if you want to progress...after years of watching senna and ghost and the like I finally got it

Elbows at dawn eh. I did clip Sennas bar end at Pembrey around Honda curve. That was a bit scary but we behave now.
